Salt flats: nature’s canvas seen from above.

The vivid hues — from rich yellows and deep purples to soft pastels — are both a testament to the land’s mineral complexity and a reflection of the seasons, tides, and environmental shifts. My work celebrates these natural phenomena while simultaneously highlighting the abstract forms that emerge when seen from a bird’s-eye perspective.

Through these images, I aim to invoke a sense of wonder and reflection, drawing viewers into the often unseen beauty of the Earth’s surfaces. By abstracting the natural world through geometric patterns, I invite an exploration of both the familiar and the unknown, urging a deeper connection to the intricate artistry of our environment.

In photographing these salt flats, I am inspired by the tension between the organic and the constructed, the fragile and the enduring. Each photograph reveals a landscape in constant flux, a fleeting moment of stillness within an ever-changing terrain.
