Portfolio Distinction

In December 2024, I earned a bronze portfolio distinction from Photographic Society of America for my Salt Symphony Series.

My drone photography explores the convergence of nature and abstraction through the geometric compositions found in the salt flats of the San Francisco Bay Area. Hovering above this landscape, I capture the interplay between natural processes and human intervention, transforming the Earth’s surface into a kaleidoscope of shapes, colors, and textures. The salt flats, with their sprawling hexagons and fractured lines, resemble paintings more than landscapes, and through my lens, they become a living canvas.
